A snowstorm postponed the first meeting between these two teams, Boston wont be so lucky this time. Going back to the 2011 postseason, the Bolts have won 4 straight home games against the Bruins scoring at least five goals every time. This has turned into a somewhat budding rivalry after the Eastern Conference finals matchup. I know many bolts fans like myself loathe the Bruins and their punk players like Lucic, Ference, their grotesque deformed ones like Marchand, and their fat slob coach Claude Julien, can you tell I hate the Bruins?
I want nothing more than to win this game, I was so excited for this one this morning it was like a playoff game. Bruins goalie Tuuka Rask is expected to be a breakout star this year, and has done well with a 2.06 GAA. However, the Lightning have made him their bitch in his career, winning all three games against him with a GAA of over four.
On the Bolts side, Stamkos appears to maybe be poised to go on one of his tears. He has five goals in the last 3 games.
One more lolz note, the Bruins power play is hilariously awful. The best strategy tonight might be to give them a 60 minute power play
