Game 11: Tampa Bay Lightning (6-4-0) at New York Rangers (5-5-0)

Game eleven was supposed to be last night against Boston, but the game was postponed due to the snow storm. So my work on last nights preview went to waste and now this is game eleven, the Rangers for the second time in eight days. The Rangers began the Lightnings three game losing streak and hopefully they will end it.

The Rangers have also played two games since the last time these two met, they beat the Islaners 4-1 and lost to the Devils 3-1 in those two games.

Its likely that Henrik Lundqvist will get the start for the Rangers, and also likely Lindback will get the start for the Bolts meaning the goaltending matchup will be completely different than it was last week. Lundqvist has a subpar by his standards 2.61 GAA in nine starts this season.

This is the first of two meeting at the Madison Square Garden this season. The Bolts have fared rather well in this building compared to how theyve fared in others like Nassau Colliseum or Td Banknorth Arena. Its likely the ice will be chippy because the Knicks are playing a home game there as we speak so the ice will be layed just a couple hours before the game.

Around the southeast
The Bolts are the only team in the division in action tonight. hopefully they can get some seperation because the Canes and Jets are closing in on the Bolts once large lead.
